Please read these Terms of Use carefully before using the Victory Light website, mobile application, or connected device operated by Victory Light Inc. By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
01Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age and a resident of Canada or another jurisdiction where the Services are lawfully available. By agreeing to these Terms, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.
02Your Account
To access certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate and complete registration information
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your password
- All activity that occurs under your account
You must notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access to your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
03The Service
Victory Light provides a connected lighting device and companion application that triggers lighting events based on NHL game scores. The availability and accuracy of score data depends on third-party data providers and network connectivity. We do not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted, or error-free operation of the Services.
04Purchases and Payments
Certain Services or features may require payment. By making a purchase, you agree to pay the fees as described at the time of purchase. All prices are in Canadian dollars unless otherwise stated. Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider; we do not store your full payment card details.
All sales are final unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection law. If you believe you have been charged in error, please contact us within 30 days.
05Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Services or related systems
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the device firmware or application
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit any part of the Services without our written consent
- Transmit any malicious code, viruses, or disruptive data
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users
06Intellectual Property
All content, software, designs, trademarks, and other intellectual property in the Services are owned by or licensed to Victory Light. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms. You may not use our name, logos, or branding without prior written permission.

Victory Light is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially licensed by the National Hockey League (NHL) or any of its member clubs. NHL team names, logos, and related marks are the property of their respective owners. Victory Light makes no claim to any NHL intellectual property.
08Disclaimers
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.
09Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, VICTORY LIGHT AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR CAD $100.
10Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without cause or notice. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your licence to use the Services will immediately cease.
11Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Toronto, Ontario, in accordance with the Arbitration Act, 1991 (Ontario).
